Festa of São Brás
Then in the first week of February 2025, there were two celebrations; the Feria of Lemanja (2nd February) in honour of the sea goddess takes place in the town square (Quadrado). Then on the following day (3rd February), was the Festa of São Brás, featuring musicians playing samba and Brazilian forró music into the night, culminating in a flag being raised in the Quadrado.
